Both Dubuque Hempstead and Senior High School played a no holds barred match up in the 3A SubState playoff. The intensity with which they played made for an exciting game and it was fun to shoot. Dubuque Senior advances to the next round after getting the win against their city rival.

Iowa Winter Games

The Iowa Winter Games recently held Alpine Racing and Half Pipe/Slopestyle events at Sundown Mountain in Dubuque, Ia.  It was awesome photographing the events and to see the competitors captured at the peak of their jump or see the alpine racers jutting around a gate.  The weather was overcast and it was like shooting in a huge white room with the white sky above and snow below.
