Fierce play

Both Dubuque Hempstead and Senior High School played a no holds barred match up in the 3A SubState playoff. The intensity with which they played made for an exciting game and it was fun to shoot. Dubuque Senior advances to the next round after getting the win against their city rival.

A Moment in Time

I took a peak into a nest to see if perhaps there were any blue eggs. These two baby robins perked up at my approach and lifted their heads readied for the catch of the morning. Seemed a fitting submission to A Moment in Time project I read about later that day.
